Position requires an insurance professional who can maintain current business through prospect interaction, positive customer service,
and follow-up.
Essential Job Functions:
Seek out new business and develop clientele by network to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients
in order to produce revenue.
Relationship building.
Provide excellent customer service according to clients needs, business retention.
Develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance.
Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance policies.
Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their risk management needs and discuss any existing coverage.
Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, completing applications, and handling policy renewals
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or education and training equivalent of four (4) years of college education in Business, Liberal Arts or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of Commercial insurance experience.
Confident, self-starter who works well independently, with minimal direction
Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
Sales aptitude
Strong understanding of professional and industry standards and practices
